You should be respected, valued, and applauded for the work you do
We know it’s tough being a mental health professional these days. You feel undervalued and are forced to work in a healthcare system that may not prioritize quality care. Add potentially long commutes and troublesome work politics and disorganization, and life can get stressful. How can you find a job that is not only fulfilling but flexible enough to give you ample time with family and friends?
We are just as frustrated as you are. It shouldn’t be so hard to do your job, help people, and come home with love and energy left for your family and friends. That’s where we come in. We work with non-profit healthcare organizations across the U.S. that are in dire need of reliable and high-quality psychiatry services. At Iris, we are on the front-line of the mental health epidemic and are incredibly proud of our team of clinicians to help bolster underserved communities. Are you ready to love your work? The hiring process
We understand you have job offers coming at you from every direction. Our goal is to get to know you first so that we can offer you the RIGHT job. We pride ourselves on being transparent and upfront with all of the critical details that will affect your day-to-day job satisfaction. From clinical setting to scheduling details, to prescribing philosophy, we are committed to ensuring the role is a perfect fit for you.
We will take the time to learn about your clinical setting and scheduling preferences as well as your prescribing and practice philosophies. We will also answer any questions you may have about telepsychiatry and working with Iris. This is done through a series of phone and video conversations.
Placement and licensure
Once you’ve decided Iris is a fit for you, your dedicated Clinical Hiring Manager will identify opportunities that fit your criteria. Together, you decide on a clinic or hospital that’s a long-term fit for you. At the same time, our credentialing team works with you to get the appropriate state licensure if needed.
Meet & greet
Your dedicated Clinical Hiring Manager schedules an initial meeting with you and your potential new clinic. After that meeting, you will be presented with a Service Summary detailing the specifics of your placement. If all parties agree, we move to onboarding!
Your dedicated Clinical Operations Manager and Credentialing Coordinator will handle all the administrative items needed to get you set up at your new clinic. This will include everything from completing credentialing forms for you to getting you set up with your technology and EMR training with your clinic.
On the first day of go-live, your Clinical Operations Manager (COM) ensures that you get connected with your clinic and that your appointments go off without a hitch. Your COM will maintain an ongoing relationship with you and your clinic to support you throughout the lifetime of your partnership with that clinic.
